Connie Rufenbarger was diagnosed with breast cancer at 34 years old.

Back then, there was no advocacy and very little information.

“There were no pink ribbons. There was no lay literature. There were no magazine articles. There was no October. You just had breast cancer and people didn’t talk about it.”

How she used her experience to become a leading advocate and help shape the future of breast cancer screening, treatment, and research – in Indiana and across the country.
